The Minimum Wage is Racist

January 29, 2014

So here is the disgusting irony of Obama issuing an executive order to increase the minimum wage for federal contract workers. The first minimum wage for federal contract workers was established by the Davis-Bacon Act of 1931. The law was pushed by racists in congress and in white unions to price inexperienced blacks out of the labor market. The president of American Federation of Labor testified in support of the bill that “colored labor is being brought in to demoralize wage rates.”

So here is the question to ponder: have the laws of economics changesd since 1931 or is President Obama an Uncle Tom just interested in his own political success?
