Ohio Works?

There is lots of talk about the economic comeback of Ohio. After all, the unemployment rate has been slowly falling.

However, the falling unemployment rate is a mirage. It’s falling as a result of a declining labor force.

In contrast, the national labor force has been slowly increasing.

And Ohio has not been improving recently either. In fact, over just the last year Ohio’s labor force has significantly declined.

The truth is that Ohio’s economy is not growing. Ohioans are suffering. And partisan rhetoric does not change that reality. The false rhetoric just reveals one’s character.
